Inés was born in 2013 from a twin pregnancy. Her development was not normal and we started a search in several Spanish hospitals.
Two years later, in 2015, she was diagnosed with KCNA2. At that time, there were only 7 known cases around the world.
Our lives underwent a dramatic change.
How She’s Doing Now
About five years ago, Inés began a new treatment that changed everything. Her seizures are now under control, her ataxia has improved, and she’s making incredible intellectual strides. Her quality of life has improved enormously.
